DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ARUSHA.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your private safari guide and transferred to your luxurious lodge or boutique hotel in Arusha. Nestled at the base of Mount Meru, Arusha is the safari capital of northern Tanzania and offers a peaceful start to your journey. After check-in, you’ll have time to relax, enjoy the tranquil gardens, and settle into the comfort of your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, you may opt for a short city tour, a visit to the local Maasai market, or simply unwind with a sundowner by the pool. In the evening, a gourmet dinner awaits as your guide briefs you on the exciting days ahead.
DAY 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After an early breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, a scenic 2–3 hour drive through the Tanzanian countryside. Known for its towering baobab trees and dense elephant populations, Tarangire is a hidden gem offering incredible wildlife experiences with fewer crowds. You’ll enjoy a full-day game drive, tracking elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, and a variety of bird species. With your expert guide, you’ll venture into less-explored areas of the park, stopping for a luxurious bush lunch in a shaded spot surrounded by nature. As the sun sets, you’ll head to your upscale lodge or tented camp located near the park, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink, a hearty dinner, and storytelling around a campfire under the African stars.
DAY 3: KARATU TO SERENGETI.
After an early breakfast, depart Karatu and drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying stunning views of the crater as you ascend the highlands. The journey to the Serengeti is a scenic adventure in itself, with a game drive en route through the varied landscapes of the conservation area. As you enter the Serengeti National Park via the Naabi Hill Gate, the vast open plains unfold before you — home to one of the richest ecosystems on Earth. Enjoy an afternoon game drive as you make your way to your midrange lodge or tented camp, spotting herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, and predators like lions and cheetahs along the way. Arrive at your camp in time to relax, take in the sunset over the plains, and enjoy a hearty dinner under the stars.
DAY 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.
Spend a full day exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti, one of Africa’s most iconic and wildlife-rich national parks. After an early breakfast, head out for a morning game drive when wildlife is most active — this is the best time to spot big cats like lions, leopards, and cheetahs on the hunt. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, a breathtaking movement of thousands of wildebeest and zebras across the plains. Break for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the park, surrounded by nature and the sounds of the wild. In the afternoon, continue your game drive through different areas of the park, encountering elephants, giraffes, hippos, and a wide variety of birdlife. As the sun sets over the savannah, return to your camp or lodge for a warm dinner and a relaxing evening under the African sky.
DAY 5:SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CRATER.
After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti as you begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Keep your camera ready for any last wildlife sightings along the way. Around midday, stop for a picnic lunch at the Naabi Hill Gate or another scenic viewpoint before continuing the drive through the lush highlands. In the afternoon, arrive at your lodge located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater or nearby in the Karatu area. If time allows, you may take a short nature walk or simply relax and enjoy panoramic views of the crater from your lodge. Dinner is served in the evening as you prepare for the unforgettable crater descent on the following day.
DAY 6: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK TO ZANZIBAR.
After breakfast, enjoy a short game drive through Lake Manyara National Park, known for its lush forest, diverse birdlife, and famous tree-climbing lions. You may spot elephants, hippos, flamingos, and troops of baboons as you explore the park’s varied habitats. After the morning activity, you’ll be transferred to the airport—either Arusha or Kilimanjaro—depending on flight logistics, for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival on the island, you’ll be met by a representative and transferred to your beach resort. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax on the soft white sands, take a swim in the turquoise waters, or simply unwind by the pool as you shift into the slower, tropical pace of island life.
DAY 7-10: STONE TOWN TO NORTH COAST (NUNGWI).
After breakfast at your hotel in Stone Town, take a guided morning tour through the historic heart of Zanzibar. You’ll explore winding alleyways, visit the Old Fort, House of Wonders, Sultan’s Palace, and learn about the island’s spice trade and cultural fusion of Arab, Persian, Indian, and European influences. After the tour, depart Stone Town and drive north to Nungwi — Zanzibar’s stunning north coast known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant marine life. Arrive at your beach resort in the early afternoon and spend the rest of the day relaxing on the white sands, enjoying water activities, or watching a spectacular sunset over the Indian Ocean. Dinner will be served at the resort as you settle into the peaceful rhythm of island life.
DAY 11: DEPARTURE.
Enjoy a relaxed morning at your beach resort, soaking in the last moments of paradise. Depending on your flight time, you may take a final stroll along the beach, enjoy a leisurely breakfast, or take a quick dip in the ocean or pool. After check-out, you’ll be transferred to Zanzibar International Airport for your departure flight. As your journey comes to an end, take with you unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s wild landscapes, rich culture, and stunning coastal beauty.
