Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport-Arusha

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ARUSHA.
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, proceed to the immigration area where airport officials will check your documents to verify your identity. After clearing immigration and collecting your luggage, exit the terminal building.
At the exit, you will be warmly welcomed by an Epic Escape Safaris driver guide, who will be holding a signboard with your name clearly written on it. After a brief introduction, the driver will assist you with your luggage and escort you to the transfer vehicle.
You will then be driven to Arusha City, where your hotel awaits. On arrival at the hotel, your driver guide will help with the check-in process.
Once settled in, you’ll have some time to freshen up and relax after your long journey. Later in the evening, head down to the hotel restaurant for dinner. After your meal, you can choose to unwind in the lounge or garden area, take some photos, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before heading back to your room for a restful night.
DAY 2:PICK UP FROM HOTEL TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you will drive to Tarangire National Park, located about 120 km from Arusha—approximately a 2-hour scenic drive. As the sixth-largest park in Tanzania, Tarangire may be smaller in size but is rich in wildlife and natural beauty. It offers some of the best birdwatching opportunities year-round and delivers a truly authentic safari experience.
Often underrated, Tarangire is a hidden gem for those who love to explore. During your full-day game drive, you’ll journey across vast savannah landscapes, observing not only large game but also learning about the park’s smaller creatures and unique ecosystem. The park is particularly famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and frequent sightings of lions, zebras, giraffes, and many other species. As the afternoon comes to a close, you’ll head to your tented lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
DAY 3: DRIVE TO NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven approximately 180 km (about 3.5 to 4 hours) to the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari. Upon arrival, you’ll descend 610 meters to the Crater floor—one of the world’s most breathtaking natural wonders, often called “Africa’s Garden of Eden.”
Your game drive will take you through the Crater’s rich and diverse landscapes, home to a vast range of wildlife. Expect to encounter lions, leopards, black rhinos, hyenas, zebras, waterbucks, baboons, and many more. Around 1:00 PM, your guide will stop at a scenic picnic site—often near Lake Magadi—to set up a relaxing outdoor lunch surrounded by the Crater’s incredible beauty.
After lunch, continue with game viewing until the mid-afternoon. Later, you will ascend from the Crater and begin your journey to the Central Serengeti, a drive of approximately 145 km (about 3.5 to 4 hours) through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and into Serengeti National Park.
DAY 4: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.
DAY 5: FINAL GAME DRIVE SERENGETI THEN TO ARUSHA.
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Central Serengeti, where you can spot abundant wildlife across the vast plains and possibly catch glimpses of the Big Five. Your guide will take you on an exciting exploration through this iconic ecosystem, offering unforgettable safari moments.
By late morning or early afternoon, you will begin your journey back to Arusha, a drive of approximately 300 km (about 6–7 hours). Along the way, soak in the scenic landscapes of the Tanzanian countryside.
Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight. This concludes your unforgettable Tanzanian safari adventure, filled with incredible wildlife encounters and stunning natural beauty
