DAY 1: KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT-ARUSHA
Welcome to Tanzania – The Journey Begins
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your Tanzanian adventure begins. After completing immigration, a Kojuu Safaris representative will warmly welcome you, assist with luggage, and escort you to your private transfer vehicle, stocked with refreshing drinks for a comfortable ride. The scenic 55 km drive to Arusha (about 1 hour) offers your first glimpse of Tanzania’s beauty. At your hotel, you’ll be greeted by the management and staff, ready to make you feel at home. Enjoy a delicious dinner, relax, and immerse yourself in the serene atmosphere as the spirit of Africa embraces you. DAY 2: DRIVE TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK FOR GAME DRIVE
After breakfast, you will drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park (120 km/2 hours) for a full day of game viewing. Tarangire, often considered underrated, offers rich wildlife experiences across its vast savannahs. At 1:30 pm, your guide will serve lunch at a picnic site before continuing with afternoon and evening game drives. The Tarangire River, a vital lifeline during the dry season, attracts giraffes, zebras, antelopes, buffaloes, and large herds of elephants—the largest population in Northern Tanzania. Predators such as lions are also frequently seen, drawn by the abundance of prey. Elephants, often unbothered by vehicles, may approach quite closely, adding to the unique experience. As the day winds down, you will head to your lodge for dinner, relaxation, and overnight stay, carrying with you the beauty and excitement of Tarangire unforgettable wildlife encounters.
DAY 3: DRIVE TO CENTRAL SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK FOR GAME DRIVE.
After breakfast, you’ll set out for a final game drive in the Central Serengeti, exploring new areas and seeking unique sightings. Each day in the wild is different—perhaps lions will be on the move, elephants may wander closer, or even a cheetah could climb a vehicle to scan the horizon. Around midday, your guide will serve a bush lunch in a scenic spot, allowing you to soak in the sights and sounds of the savanna. This morning is also perfect for visiting the Kopjes, ancient granite outcrops that provide shelter for wildlife and excellent opportunities for photography. A highlight of the day is Simba Rock, believed to have inspired the famous Lion King scene of Mufasa lifting Simba above the plains, a moment that brings the magic of the Serengeti to life. In the late afternoon, you’ll depart the Serengeti and journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll arrive at your lodge to relax and prepare for tomorrow’s adventure into the legendary crater.
DAY 4: FULL GAME DRIVE THEN DRIVE TO NCAA FOR OVERNIGHT.
DAY 5: FINAL GAME DRIVE THEN DRIVE TO NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA.
After breakfast, enjoy your final game drive in the Serengeti, exploring its vast plains and rich wildlife. Arriving around 10:00 AM, you’ll begin spotting animals across this nearly 15,000 sq km park—home to the Big Five, as well as cheetahs, giraffes, and countless other species. Around midday, your guide will find a scenic spot for a bush picnic lunch. After soaking in the last views of the Serengeti, you’ll exit the park in the afternoon and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 6: GAME DRIVE NGORONGORO-TRANSFER TO KILIMANJARO AIRPORT.
Breakfast, pick up from the hotel and drive to Ngorongoro crater for game drive. Upon arrival you will descend to the Crater floor for game viewing till afternoon where your guide will look for a nice place to set up table for Lunch.
In the afternoon, around 1pm you guide will find a place set table for Lunch and soon after lunch you will continue with game viewing for 3-4 hours.
Ngorongoro crater known as “Africa’s Garden of Eden’s is the well-preserved natural phenomenon that has become sanctuary for all kinds of wildlife. Here you will find, leopard, lion, black rhino, hyena, wallowing, Zebra, waterbuck, baboons and many others.
Soon after ascend from the crater you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight.
