ITENERARY.
Day 1: Arusha-Tarangire National Park.
Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park.
Day 3-5: Karatu-Serengeti National Park.
Day 6: Serengeti-Ngorongoro Crater
Day 7: Karatu-Arusha Airport.
Day 8-10: Zanzibar Island Tour.
Day 11: Zanzibar Airport.
DAY 1: ARUSHA-TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK.
We will pick you up from your hotel or Arusha Airport have a short safari briefing before departing to Tarangire National Park. Your first safari experience will be the thrilling game drive through the vastness of Tarangire National Park. Enjoy game drive through the park and look out for huge herds of elephants, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, leopards, impalas, ostriches and waterbuck. The park’s landscape is dotted with baobab trees, which are believed to be over 200 years old!
Once game drives are done, we drive to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
DAY 2: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK.
After breakfast, you depart for Lake Manyara National Park. The journey includes a game drive and carries lunch boxes. Once the game drive is complete, we will drive you back to the lodge to relax and stay overnight.
Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its arboreal lions, which hide among tree branches. You will also see numerous troops of baboons living in the forest, accompanying you along the road from the moment you enter the park.
DAY 3-5: KARATU-SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.
After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park on a game drive and enjoy lunch at a suitable place inside the park. We will continue the game drive activity in the afternoon before reaching the lodge. You spend the following 2 day inside the park on game drives.
Serengeti National Park is well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. However, be ready to see resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions fulfilling their role in the circle of life.
DAY 6: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CRATER.
After breakfast, you depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater while carrying lunch boxes. Once the game drives are complete, we will drive you to your lodge to relax, have dinner and stay overnight.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the area that constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and one of the natural wonders of Africa. About 30 000 large mammals are resident all year round (such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos), and a wide variety of birds (such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards). So be ready to see many animals here within a short time.
DAY 7: KARATU-ARUSHA AIRPORT.
After breakfast, you can relax at the lodge and, if time allows, take a short tour of Karatu town for shopping before transferring to Arusha Airport. Your flight to Zanzibar will depart from Arusha Airport. Our driver in Zanzibar will be waiting for you at Zanzibar Airport for your private transfer to your hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 8-10:ZANZIBAR ISLAND TOUR.
These three days are spent in Zanzibar at your leisure. Use your time to relax on the beach and at the resort. Discover Zanzibar’s best beaches, each offering spectacular sunsets, palm-fringed beaches, turquoise waters, white sand, and colorful coral reefs. Admire the narrow streets lined with residential houses that preserve their original Swahili-Omani themes. Exquisitely carved doorways identify the themes with metal studs, overhanging balconies, and latticed windows. Side by side, you will see churches and mosques. The churches are due to the colonial presence in the country and the mosques commissioned by the sultans of Zanzibar. You will also visit other exciting destinations in the town.Dinner will be served in the evening.
DAY 11: ZANZIBAR AIRPORT.
Enjoy a relaxed morning at your beach resort, soaking in the last moments of paradise. Depending on your flight time, you may take a final stroll along the beach, enjoy a leisurely breakfast, or take a quick dip in the ocean or pool. After check-out, you’ll be transferred to Zanzibar International Airport for your departure flight. As your journey comes to an end, take with you unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s wild landscapes, rich culture, and stunning coastal beauty.
