Through responsible tourism, we address menstrual health challenges faced by girls and women in rural Tanzania by supporting access to menstrual products, health education, and community-led solutions that promote dignity, wellbeing, and long-term impact.
Today, through our Community Menstrual Health Initiative, we work to improve the wellbeing of girls
and women in underserved communities by providing sanitary products, delivering menstrual health
education, and supporting the creation of safe spaces in schools. Our programs aim to reduce stigma,
improve school attendance, and protect the dignity and health of every girl we reach.
OUR MOTTO IS: no girl should have to sacrifice her education because of her period.
As I grew older and built my career, traveled, and created opportunities for myself, that memory never left.
I realized that success means very little if it only lifts one person.
So I made a decision: whatever I build must also build others.
That is how our Community Menstrual Health Initiative was born.
Not from statistics.
But from faces I never forgot.

In many communities across East Africa, menstrual health is still surrounded by:
-Period Poverty: Girls and women are unable to afford sanitary products
-School Absenteeism: missing 3–5 days of school every month
-Shame and stigma: silence that breeds misinformation
-Health risks: infections from unsafe materials
-Lack of private sanitation: no proper toilets or washing facilities
-Early dropout rates: girls falling behind and never returning to class
These are not small problems. They shape futures.
We believe:
-A period should never end an education.
-Dignity is not a luxury.
-Small actions, repeated consistently, change generations.
-Community is still our greatest strength.
-This initiative is not perfect. It is growing. It is learning. It is becoming.
Just like the girls we serve.
And just like the communities that raised us.
Every journey tells a story.
And every traveler who chooses us becomes part of this one.
That is why 1% of every safari trip we sell goes directly to funding this initiative.
Not as charity.
But as shared responsibility.
When you travel with us, you are not only exploring landscapes – you are helping a girl stay in school, walk
with confidence, and believe her body is not a burden.

This work is personal.
It is rooted in childhood memories, in dusty schoolyards, in quiet shame, and in loud hope.
Thank you for walking this path with us.
Together, we are turning silence into conversation. Together, we are turning travel into impact. Together, we
are choosing to rise – as one community.
